The Job

Job Purpose:

  • Responsible directly on all marketing programs for B2C brand in Vietnam in order to achieve agreed brand health & financial targets.
  • Align the Global marketing strategy for brand market or Channel and translate that into prioritized and scheduled local plans and activities that can be carried out by the sales force.
  • Global CVPs are implemented to meet local market circumstances. It is the ultimate responsible for the quality and results of the marketing programs implementation both in ATL & BTL including trade marketing activities

Main Duties:

  • Managing all ATL & BTL marketing activities for 2 biggest categories: motorcycle and car lubricants
  • Responsible for building long term plan of category and brand strategy and execution: brand building, communication, innovation, portfolio optimization, distribution, pricing to achieve both business target(Vol, C3) and brand KPI (Consumer Brand Preference, Trade Share of Recommendation, Distribution, Visibility, Portfolio health…)
  • Lead trade plan by working closely with RTM, Sales & Distributors. Develop local toolkits (sales pitch, premium story telling) to equip sales rep on field. Regularly monitor volume sales & distribution KPI and initiate actions if performance is low vs planned.
  • Liaise with lots of cross functions global & local teams: brand, communication, media, MotoGP/F1 sponsorship, insight, supply chain, product life cycle, label, legal, new business development… to deliver end-to-end project results.
  • Continuously improve 360 marketing skills

      

 

Your Skills and Experience

Experience and Qualifications required:

  • 5-10 years in high-performing, customer-focused environment, especially with experience in marketing roles. Prior experience in trade/channel/customer marketing is strongly preferred, including channel penetration, trial creation and conversion to usage/loyalty. Experience managing B2C/Industrial brands is a plus, especially ones with technology leadership proposition. FMCG experience is also acceptable.
  • Evidence of strong commercial acumen, especially in sales or technical selling roles, and track record for over-delivery on targets
  • Prior experience delivering impact and efficiency across marketing mix elements in a plus
  • Experience developing sector/brand strategy and managing longer-term innovation/development cycle is helpful
  • Experience capturing value through pricing strategy & mgmt. is desired
  • Competency in mining customer insights and using advanced analytics and acting on these to reach customers.
  • Solution development and creative problem solving
  • Successful integration for collaborative development and implementation with global brands & local sales/operations. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage self/time amongst many competing priorities
  • Lubricants knowledge helpful but not required
