Finance Manager

The Job
- Accounting and internal controls – guide and manage accounting policies together with all internal and external audit requirements; ensure effective internal controls are in place to ensure full compliance to Singapore laws and regulatory requirements;
- Financial Planning and analysis – produce timely and accurate reporting and analysis; provide insightful financial analysis to identify ways of driving improved business performance;
- Regulatory Reporting – Responsible for the preparation of regulatory reporting, which includes statutory filing, tax authorities, etc.; manage and comply with reporting requirements and tax filing;
- Planning and forecasting – manage the process for accurate financial forecasting and budgeting including operational budgeting, market and market share analysis, competitive analysis, cost accounting, monthly/quarterly/annual planning, etc.;
- Strategic planning – integral part of the leadership team, the individual will contribute to and shape significant strategic decisions as well as ensuring alignment and be responsible for providing strong financial leadership in the pursuit of the short, mid and long-term business/commercial objectives/strategy. Crucial to the success in this role will be the ability to drive the profit improvement in collaboration with the various functional leads, including setting cost saving targets and reviewing and approving pricing and other commercial terms;
- Corporate development – identify business needs, which may be realized through organic and inorganic means, including strategic alliances, partnerships and other growth initiatives.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/related field or CFA/CPA certified;
- At least 4 years of senior level experience;
- Prior experience in retails /financial industries accompanied with audit background is highly regarded;
- Exposure to a family office environment is desired;
- Well-rounded technical skills in accounting, costing and financial/strategic planning;
- Ability to work well with people from different cultures and disciplines;
- Bilingual in English and Vietnamese (read, write and speak) as the incumbent needs to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates in the course of the work;
