Key Account Manager - MT Channel

The Job

The Modern Trade Channel is one of the key departments of our client in Vietnam servicing both local & international chain accounts. This department ensures that all the strategies and activation programs of The Company portfolio are well implemented in stores. This channel has been contributing significantly to the sales of the total company through the rapid growth of market share & volume share.

Report to: Group Key Account Manager

Customer Strategy and Business Plan

  • Manage the customer P&L for the customer and by categories, counterparts and budget planning
  • Develops the customer strategic business plan for his/her respective customer.
  • Lead and execute Joint Business Planning according to the Global standards together with the customer.
  • Work out a Target Group Management strategic plan for  assigned accounts for existing businesses
  • Work closely together with Category Managers/Trade Category Directors in order to have strategic alignment with DT business focussing on Wholesalers
  • Works in close collaboration with Category Managers for the category input, and with customer marketing for the customer/channel plan
  • Generate insights for the assigned customer/channels (store layout, traffic)
  • In charge of in-store extra visibility/highlight display, not execution
  • Provide clear objectives and deliverables for the field team, under responsibility of Field Operation Team

Negotiation

  • Closes the deal with the Customer by negotiating the trade terms, trade funding, and counterparts according to the strategy on his/her customer
  • Manages overall levels of Customer Investments for the customers
  • Monitors Customer Performance by tracking customer contribution and market share for major categories

Your Skills and Experience

  • University Degree with Marketing/Business background is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years relevant Account Management/Field Sales experience
  • Strong Business Planning and Implementation, good communication
  • Passion to growth and strong time management skill to work in a changeable environment, manage
  • workload and multiple projects
  • Open-minded, result-oriented
  • Good relationships with local accounts (solid experience of at least 18 months with local)
  • Knowledge in category building in MT (understand business drives of category he/she in charge
  • Willing to travel
