Regional Audit Manager
- Ho Chi Minh
Salary: $1800 - $2200
The Job
Main Duties:
- Lead audits (or in some instances conduct audits of assigned chapters) to completion in a timely manner, ensuring areas highlighted (audit issues and recommendations) assist Company in improving the existence and effectiveness of internal controls, reliability and integrity of financial & operational information, compliance to Company policies, instructions & guidelines, as well as local laws, and efficient use of company resources & assets.
- Perform risk based audit planning (preparation) via review different sources of information (i.e. previous audit reports, operational performance reports, KPI's, CSA results) and interviews with key stakeholders.
- Proper stakeholder management (including local management and Audit management). i.e. involvement during both planning and fieldwork to consider concerns on timing and audit scope, during audit progress to inform on audit results through clear and concise communication and getting commitment from local management on action plans to address the improvement areas identified.
- Ensure all audit work is documented in an organized, accurate and concise manner, clearly supporting the conclusions reached in the audits performed through creation of internal audit reports summarizing key findings and recommendations identified through the course of audit testing. Ensure findings are presented in fair and objective manner and that management action plans are developed and committed to for each audit finding.
- Coordinating the follow-up process of both NGA and NMA reports, to ensure the audited unit reports follow-ups on a timely basis and in-line with timelines.
- Recruitment, Development and Retention of high potential talent through the audit function for both local staffing and international mandates as required.
- Support NGA audit teams working in the market including local NMA resource as requested by NGA and information of key risk give to NGA during audit.
- Update local management committee members and where applicable, local Audit Committee, on key business risks and internal control gaps, and group audit findings.
- Upon local Management request, conduct market assistance projects and adhoc reviews tailored to market- specific business needs. Reviews do not circumvent, preempt or prepare for audits (Remark: such market assistance projects and ad hoc reviews can include fraud investigation).
- Assist Indochina Audit Manager in the annual audit planning process within overall Company Audit Risk Assessment framework.
Your Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Academic Background:
- Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Economics/ Engineering/ IT/Mathematics/ Law (required)
- MSc (NGA required) and MBA or CIA/CPA/CFA preferred
- Proficiency in English (written and oral) and language of the home market (where applicable)
Business Experience (preferred):
- Demonstrated business understanding through hands-on experience at one or several career steps including Internal Audit (strongly recommended), Corporate Finance, Controlling, or other Finance and Control leadership position where leadership of a team has been demonstrated. Minimum 5 years of experience, with Management experience.
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience
- Prior internal or external audit experience
