Assistant Finance Manager-Supply Chain Funtions

The Job
Principle Accountabilities
- Provides financial analysis to Supply Chain and Operations team. Ensures manufacturing activities and performance are properly analyzed, measured and translated into financial values to achieve improving manufacturing efficiency and financial targets.
- Support Supply Chain and Operations team to identify area for improvement of quality and/or efficiency of certain business process and the control thereof.
- Provides effective planning, leading and co-ordination of the factory’s annual budgeting and periodic review exercise in line with local and corporate requirements. Ensures the maintenance of a costing function, which meets statutory, local and headquarter requirements
- Drive an effective standard costing system plus a regular reporting of deviations.

- Reporting to: Supply Chain Finance Manager
Job responsibilities:
Costing, accounting:
- Develop and maintain an effective cost model for standard conversion costs and product costing.
- Prepare monthly forecast for product costing with analyses for changes.
- Perform timely and detailed variance analysis: identify reason and allocate the variances, including conversion costs variance and manufacturing / efficiency variances
Reporting:
- Develops and maintains the integrated Management Information System for the analysis of and reporting on financial and non - financial performance indicators, like business KPI, manufacturing losses, failure cost, supply service level, capital expenditure…
- To support Operations Finance Manager to prepare management reports (Monthly, forecast, budget, presentation)
Budgeting/Forecasting
- Develop the year budget/ forecast for monthly conversion cost/ standard costing in cooperation with the Operations Leadership.
Management information, analysis and recommendation
- Provide accurate and timely periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) reports on all production data, factory operating expenses and variances, both planning and operational, for Operations and Finance Management review.
- Perform timely and detailed variance analysis including conversion and material costs to identify reason(s), in order to enable corrective measures to be undertaken for negative variances
Others:
- To join improvement project as assigned.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in a business fields such as accounting, banking, finance, business and/or economics
- At least 5 years of experiences in Financial Planning & Accounting (FP&A) for Supply chains/Operations function of MNC preferably FMCG
- Plan, organized and analyze complex database into useful information and business recommendation
- Applies a thorough knowledge of financial management, investment capital and risk analysis
- Strong Analytical skill
- Good Communication & Influencing skill
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Advanced SAP, MS Excel Office and Power Point
- Fluent in English
