The Job

Main Purpose:

  • Lead for Insight calendar to support BU Marketing team in the development of strategic plans and annual operating plans
  • Maximize consumer and customer momentum for the total Brands of Company
  • Responsible for the delivery of specific elements of the local insight work plan. This includes market and Consumer & shopper insight, modelling & analytics and media research:
    • Manages day-to-day projects on activation,  Consumer, shopper and customer
    • Provides insights based on market information and identifies business opportunities
    • Develops local consumer intimacy 

Accountabilities:

1. Business

  •          Lead Insights calendar
  •          Lead/ conduct data analysis/ diagnostic to track/ evaluate consumer/ trade KPIs
  •          Lead diagnostics/ data analysis to support Marketing in the development of  Annual Plan for strategic implications
  •          Lead brand research for development 
  •          Strengthen Partnership with Market Research Agency
  •          Drives insights into action 
  •          Provides local category and brand performance measurement and competitor reviews
  •          Synthesizes primary and secondary research and provides insights into category/brand performance
  •          Manages research projects for activation projects including assessing in-market effectiveness
  •          Manages local consumer intimacy programs
  •          Feeds local consumer and shopper insight into regional brand innovation and communication projects
  •          Presents synthesized research findings & leads workshops 

2. People

  • Building Insights capability in Marketing Team
  • Develop insights-led platform for Marketing decisions - Strengthen Sales capability thru research data cascade and actionable recommendations 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor and up degree, major in foreign trade, economics, business administration etc.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in market research for both agency and FMCG background
  • Experience of working on international projects
  • Excellent communicator & influencing skills
  • Strong at Analytical & presentation skills
  • Good understanding of category/brand and consumer behaviors
  • Be able to leading and Facilitating the Meetings and Workshops
  • Designs and manages research projects
  • Analyses market information to identify opportunities & helps drives these into action
  • Fluent English
