To support the businesses commercial strategy in Vietnam by leading government engagement and corporate communications for the company by: building relationships with key agencies, officials regulators and local authorities; identifying, prioritising and responding to key regulatory issues; increasing advocacy efforts and building relationships with third parties and supporting the business to build a positive corporate image for the whole company.
Key Responsibility
- Building relationships with priority local, provincial and national government agencies, officials, regulators and local authorities.
- Identifying proposed regulatory risks and changes, including technical regulatory changes, assessing the impact on using Brand's risk profile, and determining an appropriate response on behalf of company.
- Leading the resolution of regulatory issues in collaboration with other relevant parts of the business, including Legal & Governance and business partners, where relevant.
- Supporting the establishment of Brand positions on key regulatory and public policy issues
- Identifying appropriate organisations and third parties (including other industry members, suppliers and customers) to engage with, in order to improve stakeholder and government relations and support commercial strategy.
- Ensuring the business engages with government officials, agencies and regulators in a manner consistent with governance policies, standards, and internal legal obligations.
- Monitoring and influencing public policy initiatives to benefit Brand goals and wine industry’s best interests.
- Informing stateholders and other relevant leadership teams on changes in regulatory environment that could have a material impact on business.
- Determining effective communications, lobbying and coalition building strategies, as a component of wider Government and Industry Relations strategy.
