Principle Accountabilities
- Be responsible for strategic media planning and liaise with Brand leaders to deliver On Time In Full execution of both traditional (TV, OOH, Radio etc) and digital media across categories
- Be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of Digital Transformation for Company, as global lead market. Ensure the digital marketing activities are aligned with brand strategy and maximize brand performance
- Deliver digital capability step change for Vietnam marketing organization from Intermediate to Advanced level. Define current & future capability requirements for both our people and the organization overall (in relation to Social & Commercial technologies/ Digital Tools/ Platforms).
- Lead key digital innovations for brands, to meet KPI, as part of capability step change. Jointly with Global Digital Marketing Team, build on Vietnam as lead model; develop digital blue-print for FC to be replicated to other countries.
- Fully leverage the insight and data from across multiple technologies/ digital tools/ platforms at every point of the integrated journey (P2P) to perform advanced analytics (both leading & challenging the advanced analytics process)
- Lead and develop a team of 4 direct reports
Reporting Relationship
- Report to Consumer Marketing Director
- Supervise and develop 2 Digital Development Managers, 1 Digital Manager & 1 Media Executive
- On a daily working basis, this job requires working closely with Global Media team, Company Brand teams, Global Digital Marketing Team, Digital Agencies, Media Agencies, Procurement, CRM, ICT, Legal, and Accenture (global partner in digital transformation program).
Job Responsibilities
Digital Strategy building
- Be responsible to strategic planning and implementation of Digital Transformation for Company, as Company’s global lead market for the Digital Transformation.
- Identify, understand and leverage various commercial & social technologies, digital tools, platforms and the ongoing insight to leverage the planning and execution of our full commercial plan with consumers, shoppers, customers and distributors
- Work with Brand Leaders to build digital strategic plans for each categories, in alignment with total brand marketing plan
Lead digital innovation in Vietnam
- Work with Global Digital Marketing Team to define digital innovation projects in Vietnam. Closely align and update Global Digital Marketing Team on the process to gain support needed
- Champion the development and experiment process of digital innovation platforms/tools/systems
- Plan strategy, construct and implement activities. Lead the scale-up process of successful innovation and handover the platforms/tools/systems to brand teams
- Together with agency, brand and CRM teams, manage and optimize performance to meet KPI
Lead digital media activities across categories
- Build strategy, construct and run digital media plan in key digital building blocks such as: IFT precision acquisition, Reward marketing, DBB customized consumer journey. Play as a partner to brand teams in concept development
- Liaise with brand teams to deploy brand strategy in terms of digital development and maximize brand performance
- Lead team to support brand teams with the adaptation of compelling content for each stage of the P2P journey. This will include thought leadership to help build interest, educational content to assist lead generation, case studies to support sales, together with social media content to develop ongoing relationships and increase brand awareness
- Together with agency, brand and cross-functional teams, manage and optimize digital performance to meet KPI of each project
Lead traditional media activities across categories
- Play as a partner to brand teams in concept development.
- Provide analysis on consumer behaviours in media to ensure strategy and concepts are effectively developed.
- Develop media strategies and ensure implementation in line with brand strategies.
- Keep marketing department informed of media performance, competitor movements and taking necessary actions.
- Together with agency, brand and cross-functional teams, manage and optimize media performance to meet KPI of each project
Ecommerce (Brand web shop)
- Lead the development and be responsible for all online activities of Brand web shop – E-commerce Oversee a team of designers and marketers
- Create and maintain an online business plan; co-ordinate with IFT business team to develop affiliate marketing programs
- Updating website for new mobile or computer systems to appeal to current and future customers
- Provide analytic reports of online sales, lead sales improvements of Brand web-shop
Digital capabilities building
- Take leadership role in driving digital capabilities building and development for the full Consumer Marketing department
- Develop and deliver trainings and/or other capability building activities for digital team and brand teams (Marketing Managers and Brand Managers) to bring digital capabilities from Intermediate to Advanced Level.
Data interpretation & analytics leading into insights
- Plan strategy and build digital & media dashboard for all brands.
- Plan strategy, build full funnel attribution and predictive analytics for IFT precision acquisition and DBB personalized journey.
- Generate insights to drive performance across integrated blocks of digital/ media operations activities and innovation
- Forecast, measure, analyse and report on all campaigns to optimize results using defined templates, reporting structures and supporting systems
- Develop data analytics capability, integrating digital data from CRM, DMP, IFT acquisition, DBB programmatic, reward marketing. Train and advise cross-functional team on analytics capability
Cost optimization
- Prepare media budget and controlling media spending within approved budget.
- Maximize value through the corporate media negotiation buying process, leveraging Company's scale across all brands and channels for maximum advantage
- Analyse channel and campaign performance for improvements and make data-driven decisions based on budget allocation
- Build partnership and maintaining a professional relationship with external agencies e.g. digital agencies, media agencies, to ensure that brand results are maximized
Team management
- Lead, coach and manage subordinates to ensure excellence team performance (4 direct reports)
- Set team’s annual targets based on annual strategic plan; Regularly review performance against targets and initiate improvement plan if necessary; Actively improve the performance of the individuals of the team
- Other tasks assigned by Consumer Marketing Director.
- This role is part of the Company Leadership team and Marketing Leadership team.
