Assistant Maintenance Manager
Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, FMCG - Binh Duong
Salary: $1500 - $2200
The Job
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical and related systems
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in maintenance machines and equipment. Responsible for evaluating problematic systems and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed
- Perform training to ensure individuals have all the requisite skills. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance procedures and maintaining personnel records
- Follow and monitor other staff in line/areas to follow together about rules related to safety, health and environment within the Company
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
- Reporting to Technical Manager
- Subordinate: Maintenance Technicians
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assign and supervise the work of maintenance employees
- Assign specific duties to personnel, conduct investigations or research, write technical, informative or operational reports, work on special projects, and attend and conduct meetings as required
- Supervisors evaluate each subordinate's performance to ensure quality operations; they also investigate accidents and prepare relevant reports
- Review work load, schedules, status of on-going work, projects and available personnel for work assignment in order to plan
- Coordinate work activities of department with other departments to ensure standards of safety, quality and efficiency
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planning supervisor to make maintenance plan for machines, equipment and follow
- Maintain spare parts inventory, review and request for change
- Keep cost on maintenance service, energy use and organization optimized. Prepare and control annual budget for department activities
- Study, suggest any improvement on equipment / system
- Organize the installation new equipment / system
- Review leave requests, overtime, evaluate personnel performance and initiate disciplinary actions. Also interview job applicants
- Make weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and analysis for improvement actions
- Build machines history data, breakdown data, analysis system and review monthly
- Plans, conducts, arranges and supervises training/retraining for employees
- Participate in personal training and development as required
- Maintain 5S in work areas, follow Good Manufacturing Practices, and work safely
- Be responsible for related ISO and HACCP, Foqus activities
- Ensure Procedure, Work Instruction, safety Risk Assessment reviewed annually
- Ensure employees to comply strictly safety regulations and Foqus, HACCP, ISO
- Be a WCOM Pillar member and implement WCOM routes
- Act as an internal auditor
- Do appraisal for subordinates and other tasks as required
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing company, FMCG industry is a plus
- Experience in maintenance for both electric and machenical
- Be able to communications in verbal and written English
- A strong ability to take leadership responsibilities
- Strong decision-making, problem solving and analytical abilities
- In depth knowledge in preventive maintenance
- Working Location: Binh Duong with support transportation
