ASSISTANT MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR
Automotive, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical - Binh Duong
Salary: $600 - $850
The Job
- Ensure “SAFETY FIRST” principle is actually implemented in all activities of repair or maintenance through effective monitoring.
- Responsible for individual weekly KPI
- Respond quickly to Andon call/ help chain and take actions.
- Apply the Problem Solving process to quickly resolve operational variances.
- Assist Maintenance Technician when they cannot resolve problems
- Conduct improvement & Problem solving meeting and provide input to the continuous improvement projects or activities
- Identify the skill needed of Technician to do daily job with good result (Skill matrix).
- Responsible for Technician training
- Promote safety work methods.
- Be a part of team, work with team and sometime lead the team on the activity needed to catch up the maintenance target.
- Carry out Preventive maintenance frequency plan for all equipment in the plant.
- Propose with Supervisor to upgrade, repair components, parts of equipment to increase the availability of machine.
- Troubleshoot problems happen to all machines during production.
- Join to find out the root cause of the problems, troubleshoot about fail of products, equipment break down.
- All equipment, tools shall be controlled for preventing loss, missing and un-proper use.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by department head.
- File all preventive maintenance and calibration records properly.
- Report to Mechanical Supervisor and Have 3 subordiantes
- Working Time: 48hour/weeks, 5 working days and off 1 day by assignement of company
Your Skills and Experience
EDUCATION & WORKING EXERIENCE REQUIRED (degree, major, minimum years required to fulfill the job )
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing company
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (expertise, knowledge, skills, abilities, etc.)
- Strong decision-making, problem solving and analytical abilities
- In depth knowledge in preventive maintenance
- Experience in maintenance and repair for Hydraulic, PneumaticStrong work ethic: High integrity and honesty
- A natural ability to connect with people, to know when to lead, when to coach and when to be a team player
- Eager to get the job done , exceeding expectations
- Ability to communicate and to summarize
- Ability to make timely decisions.
- High interpersonal skills: Team player.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (languages, computer, personality, etc.)
- Be able to communications in verbal and written – English & Vietnamese
- Good command of computer skills
