JOB PURPOSE
- To assist Sales Director to drive successfully operation excellence of Sales including optimizing and implementing all sales initiatives and company processes for day-to-day operations, coordinating other departments to improve services for customers and building Sales Capability in short and long terms.
KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA)
1. Assist to plan and execute Sales activities under the guidelines of Sales Director and / or long term strategic plan
- Plan annual budget based on the strategic sales plan every year and past experienced activities | spending
- Under the approval of Sales Director and General Director of the budget, develop detailed actions plan quarterly and monthly.
- Draft Sales promotion and sales incentives for Sales Director making decision
- Implement Sales initiatives and track the results (with RSM at country wide) vs. the targets of each initiative
- Co-ordinate with internal resources to make the Sales initiatives | sales plan taken place with highest achievements or results
- Track actual implementation vs. plan (initiatives and spending). Take actions to bridge the gaps if any
2. To run necessary analysis (internal and external) in order to support the Sales Director making right decisions at the right time
- Conduct market and competitors analysis (price, Product mapping/conversion & promotion etc) in order to propose proper initiatives or actions at the market place
- Support Sales Director in calculating GM% of projects, % rebates or incentive by Distributor or finalizing prices
- Do analysis of comprehensive data linked Distributors to understand the market movement, trend to make use the database for business decision making
- Update price and Product map on monthly basis in coordination with Marketing Director
- Run the product performance analysis in monthly & quarterly, annual report
3. Support Sales Director to complete quarterly or monthly reports
- Reconcile all reports submitted by regions or from actual data of department
- Prepare quarterly or monthly reports for Sales Director
4. Drive Sales Operation Excellence
- Support and ensure all Sales or company processes (and policies) are implemented by Sales Team. Remove internal barriers to ensure the compliance and prompt feed-back or actions
- Coordinate with other departments (Customer Service, Quality, Technical – Product, Finance etc) to quickly settle all external feedback and complaints
- Lead all the sales forecast from Sales Team: Distributor to SS, SS to RSM and then work with DPM to finialize the sales forecast with high accuracy required by the company
- Support SS/RSM and work across region to gather all prospects and analyse opportunities to suggest, keep tracking prospects and drive the new customer/project win
- Seek opportunities to improve internal sales processes, improve efficiency of all sales activities or projects (spending, resources etc). Lead potential projects to improve the Sales efficiency
- Support to roll out the new and approved operating model, processes or initiatives (if any) to Sales Team – on behalf of Sales Director
- Support to run and keep monitoring/measuring sales tools and processes in CI (B2B) with analysis and recommendation actions
5. Build internal Sales Capability:
- Improve Sales morale and retention rate by working with Sales Director and Human Resources to fix ad-hoc issues and build long term solutions for Sales CI
- Analysis the gaps of org and sales capability with Sales Director
- Ensure trainings (from internal and external parties) plan is delivered and the efficiency | capability improvement can be proved from the trainings
- Plan & deliver coaching plan to SS and support RSMs and his team to deliver volume growth plan
6. Assist Sales Director to develop long term plan to meet the strategic plan of the company:
- Provide inputs for the long term plan of Sales CI based on the day-to-day operation, market knowledge, internal processes and team capability
- Extend the role where possible to support Sales Director CI in his role as a member of COE Asia (Commercial area only)
