The Company is a famous multinational company in FMCG industry with well known brands in the global & Vietnam Market. In order to dedicatedly support their business agenda, the company is looking for a potential candidate for the following position
Distribution Supervisor/Warehouse Supervisor
Freight/Logistics, Warehouse, FMCG - Dong Nai
Salary: $1000- $1500
The Job
- Manage daily distribution operation (both DC and transportation operation) to ensure the smoothen operation of inbound from factories/ co-packers to DC, inter DC and Factories transfer and outbound customer deliveries
- Responsible to selected the best 3PLs and maintain good partnership with those 3 PLs in order to receive a good quality of service and improve business performances while optimizing the cost to serve
- Ensure that distribution operations comply with high standards of quality (in line with NQS), safety and environment requirement.
- Maintain compliance to SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) for Distribution centres , Market hygiene warehouse and transportation operations; ensure its applications by both Company and 3PL
- Monitor and review performance of warehouses and transportation service providers by KPI reports in order to improve the performance and cost control.
- Ensure the efficient stock management in term of stock accuracy, product trace ability and stock freshness to comply with customer and business requirement, corporate policy and FEFO best practice.
- Propose for approval and regular review domestic distribution budget (FCD/VDC), investment budget and fixed overhead budget. Control actual spending are in line with the approved budget.
- Co-ordinate and support CS team, Lean team and others function to implement related distribution project to improve service to customers and efficiency of across supply chain operation
- Monitor and reduce total bad goods (damages and losses)
- Re-design the distribution network to optimize costs of distribution.
- Lead / Support the implementation of Supply Chain best practices, other corporate initiatives and related ECR Thailand initiatives.
- Act as business excellence – MH to initiate and coordinate cross-functional improvement projects within CS&D in order to improve business and operational effectiveness / efficiency. As a role of BE, also provide advises and consultants to other BU in Indochina region.
- Coach, develop and maintain an effective team through selection, training, coaching, compensation and motivation. Conduct performance appraisal on a timely basis. Discipline employees in accordance with Company policy and procedure
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, Engineering or MBA; with 7 years experience in logistics; Advanced English level
- Strong background and experience in warehouse operation and transportation operation and warehouse management system
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Be able to manage 3rd party
- Be able to work independently
- Familiar with SAP system
