National Sales Director

Sales, FMCG - Ho Chi Minh

The Job

Individual Accountabilities:

1. Sales management

Set/allocate sales target and work plan

Manage people to be able to maximize sales and maintain customer satisfaction

Track market developments (sales, competitors and customers) and communicate with HQ and sales teams

2. People Development

Instruct, review, coach, and improve subordinates' (focus on supervisors) performance consistently

Manage sales practice to reach target sales for all products (KPI)

Meet with team, monitor and performance consistently

Key shared accountabilities (collaboration)

1. Sales (with regional sales managers and trade marketing)

  • Attend sales planning meeting with team and HQ to determine sales strategy to increase sales and profit
  • Attend sales promotion activities
  • Execute trade marketing programs to drive sales

2. Customer Relationship (regional area sales managers)

  • Help regional sales managers visit important customers

3. Distributor management (with regional sales managers)

  • Manage distributors to ensure sufficient stock, adequate delivery performance, and resolves problems
  • Regularly review distributor's performance, territory and adjust as needed to ensure optimal sales and service
  • Identify and develop new distributors if needed

4.People Development (with human resource)

  • Recruit and hire new RSMs and USMs

5. Project base activities

  • Coordinate with other functions to implement projects

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from University
  • At least 10 years related experience in a sales, marketing, or product allocation environment
  • Must exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully prioritize and organize multiple, competing tasks
