The Job

SUBFAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes:

  • Develop & manage data, data sources and suppliers, and data systems used for Consumer & Market & Business Insight initiatives to guide the development of enterprise, business objectives, market strategies and operating plans.
  • Play active role to ensure timely delivery of relevant, valid external & internal data collection as well as analysis to support & guide the development of enterprise & business objectives & strategic decisionmaking, market & brand & communication strategies and operating plans.
  • Take lead to recommend, develop & conduct internal & external research (including self-conducts or with third party) based on research brief from relevant stakeholders and then provides timely and appropriate research data/ reports and strategic proposal to Stakeholders including in Marketing & Communication, Sales, Research & Development (from Regional & Global), Manufacturing and Finance.
  • Anticipates future data needs and develops long-range strategies as well as budget to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Involve and supports for comprehensive monthly, quarterly & yearly report off business & department or as required.
  • Play active role to define action standards or/ and valid relevant KPIs for pre-& post campaign/ project evaluation.
  • Be in charge to develop scheme & execution of CRM projects (first 90 days, SOP...) to meet given strategic objectives.
  • Other assigned projects (if any) that relevant to Market Insight & business analysis

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines and develop Consumer & Market researches methodology to get insights, data, motives, behavior, needs & wants… to provide recommendations supporting business strategies & marketing initiatives effectively & efficiently
  • Liaise and work with external research agencies or/and relevant department or/ and ABO for executing consumer researches to get insights, data as well as giving recommendation to support the strategic & MKT activity planning
  • Conduct internal surveys or researches among distributors to understand their motives, behaviors, business approaches, retailing approaches, needs and wants…
  • Conduct marketing activity concept tests or post-event/campaign evaluation tests based on marketing plan…
  • Implement desk research of competitors to deliver competitor profile
  • Analyze research findings vs business plans to provide insight to business to support the development of brand strategies, product improvements and new products Responsible for preparing & delivering Business and brand analysis reporting on a monthly/ yearly tracking to support Marketing & Management Team for business decision making based on GDW:
  • Distributors’ analytic reports: application, renewal, productivity, retention, segmentation, 1st time purchase, repeat purchase, purchase frequency,
  • Investigates the consumer experience to support development of marketing & brand reputation initiatives
  • Develop market research questions to figure out the business opportunities
  • Brand performance: sales, contribution, CMAB, penetration, brand productivity, brand purchaser…
  • Set up & manage customer data system & lead Customer Relationship
  • Work with regional team to set up, run and evaluate the systems (global platform + tools)
  • Set & customize system application (schemes for different local distributor groups) for communication set & automatically addressed to local distributor groups respectively. Management programs planning and execution to strengthen Customers’ engagement & business effectiveness.
  • Work with brand team to come up integrated quarterly & annual CRM plan & schemes
  • Plan and execute the program: stock planning & communication
  • Work with regional team to set up the system, run and evaluate the projects Be in charge CRM programs planning and execution to strengthen Customers’ engagement & business effectiveness.
  • Work with brand team & relevant stakeholder to come up proposal.
  • Plan and execute the programs: stock planning & communication, system set-up, follow-up, adjustment to ensure the objective achievement.
  • Deliver report timely as required/ agreed

Your Skills and Experience

  • BA/ BS Business Administration or related field as Statistics, IT/CIS
  • At least 05 years in market research/ market intelligence and business analytics in FMCG or related industries.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic familiarity with the following core skill set:
  • • Knowledge of research design and analysis.
  • • Knowledge of statistical analysis and model building.
  • • Knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing technologies.
  • • Knowledge of analytic and reporting tools (e.g.; statistical packages, decision trees, OLAP, report writers, spreadsheets).
  • • Familiarity with business areas served and the overall organization.
  • • Analytical skills.
  • • Problem solving skills.
  • • Oral and written English and Vietnamese communication skills.
  • • Ability to work independently.
  • • Ability to design and deliver reports in formats suitable for a variety of audiences.
  • • Ability to lead project planning & execution.
