Technical Support Engineer

Salary: $600 - $1000
The Job
- Planning, scheduling and controlling for repairing and maintenance of professional products/system and report to both customer and Sony internally.
- Prompt response to customer request and on-site both on-call and schedule for maintenance & service works to archive in service KPI and satisfy to customer.
- Manage on non-routine maintenance and breakdown works to ensure to archive in service target and satisfy to customer.
- Co-ordinate and work as team with engineering support team in SEA, factory in Japan and other countries on support and service information update, incident tracking, problem solving solutions and available to travel to other countries for training.
- Maintaining customer site system data and information up-to-date including equipment, maintenance records, service logs tracking.
- Preparation and control backup and service tools and utilize usage and investment planning to ensure continuous improvement in service and support to customer.
- Response to work within deadline and under pressure
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electronics, Computer, Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
- Good command of both spoken & written English.
- Good knowledge in Computer Hardware/Software, OS both of Windows Server, Linux and data communication IP network.
- Good knowledge in operating basic Windows Applications, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio and editing software).
- Good knowledge in AV, HD and 3D technologies would be advantage
- Knowledge about digital cinema system, DCI standard and Dolby Digital Sound System would be advantage
- Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, positive attitude and work hard manner
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in AV/IT Product and Technologies service field
- Excellent customer service skills and good sense of business
- Age: 25 – 30 (preferable Male but please do not disclosure to publicity)
