POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

Our client is embarking on a strategic initiative to launch their presence in the E-Commerce and Digital space in Vietnam. As part of this strategy, They are looking for an Online Manager to lead this important initiative. 

 

Reporting to the Online Director for South-East Asia, with a secondary reporting line to the Managing Director of Vietnam, this role will be responsible for leading all E-Commerce activities in Vietnam.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Company’s portfolio of Brands to create, develop and drive end-to-end E-Commerce route-to-market for the company. Working closely with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixes environment, the Online Manager will also be the owner and evangelist responsible for developing an E-Commerce and Digital strategy for Vietnam; and to build a roadmap to realize it.

 

This role will be measured on the attainment of set E-Commerce revenue goals, the cultivation of Brand equity through innovative and best-in-class Digital campaigns, increasing customer engagement Online and creating a customer-centric E-Commerce experience for our Brands.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 The Online Manager is responsible for The Companies’ brands E-Commerce launch, growth and profit in Vietnam.

 

The role will lead to online strategy, manage online partnerships (Lazada, ‘LP’, agencies), coordinate projects and oversee daily operations to drive both financial results and consumer experience.

 

 

 

1. Lazada launch

  • Build roadmap, organization and financials for Companies’ brands launch on Lazada  Vietnam
  • Work with Lazada local team, Vietnam Brands & South-East Asia regional office to define online strategy, product range, launch offers and brand activations.

2. Business Management

  • Liaise with South-East Asia regional office to cascade Global & Regional Online strategies and priorities to the Vietnam Brand teams. Provide support and strategic direction to the Brands for E-Commerce demand generation, digital marketing and business optimization.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Brands, Finance, Demand planning, Supply chain…) as well as external partners (Lazada, ‘LP’, agencies…) to deliver best-in-class ECommerce revenue and experience.
  • Manage and be accountable for the Online P&L.
  • Pilot Online marketing calendar (including promos execution, animations, new products, content creation), coordinate implementation, control execution.
  • Drive Traffic (search, social, display, e-mail…) and optimize Conversion for our stores
  • Insure efficient Fulfilment and great Customer Service.
  • Plan and execute Online Shopping Festivals: LZD Birthday, 11.11, 12.12…
  • Take a hands-on approach in the planning, development and launching of E-Commerce campaigns and initiatives for various Brands by working with internal technical teams and external agencies and vendors
  •  Be the voice of Vietnam for Regional teams: express local needs, structure priorities, advocate local specifics.

3. Business Intelligence

  • Develop short and long term E-Commerce & Digital strategies and execute with a roadmap that is integrated with the Brands’ and country’s strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities to grow online revenue.
  • Identify digital marketing opportunities and develop strategies to take advantage of them.
  • Track online marketing budget and online advertising spend by channel and Brand to maximize ROI.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis.
  • Provide E-Commerce and Digital education to Brands as the subject matter expert.

4. Tracking & Reporting

  • Define business requirements, operational metrics and key performance indicators for all campaigns and projects.
  • Set up processes and tools to measure KPIs for all online activities in order to report and analyze performance on an on-going basis.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Vietnam & Regional stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The successful candidate for this key role will need to have a strategic mindset as well as the ability to execute well. Excellent communication skills, superb interpersonal skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities and the acumen to strive in an ambiguous environment are all necessary skills to be successful in this role.  Education & Experience

  • Degree holder with at least 3 years of experience in E-Commerce and Digital for a B2C focused organisation.
  • Experience managing online marketplaces (Lazada…).
  • P&L management experience.
  • Able to lead and work with people at all levels across the organisation and influence opinion to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • Decisive, can make sound decisions despite uncertainties and pressures.
  • Extremely detail-orientated and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Outgoing, proactive, fast-learning, independent and innovative
  • Strong Digital marketing experience, particularly in the areas of Search, Analytics, Social media and Mobile.
  • Experience in the luxury and prestige industry would be advantageous but not mandatory

 Required languages

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (mandatory) & Vietnamese (mandatory)
