Engineering Manager
Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Production/Process, FMCG - Binh Duong
Salary: $2500 - $3000
The Job
Principle Accountabilities
- Responsible for all activities and personnel of Technical Department to ensure the equipment as well as systems working in right track as requested for producing products under company’s brands.
- Assist Operation Director in investment project management.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to Technical Services Manager
- Supervises Assistant Maintenance Manager and Assistant Utility Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for follow up all systems GMP, HACCP, QCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000 and standard Food Safety FrieslandCampina (FOQUs) and request to change if any development/improvement
- Manage, control, and guide the Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Utility Manager, Technical Service Manager to fulfil their job responsibilities.
- Work out master plan for improving or developing production capacity together with Production Manager and others involved.
- Improve, modify, re-new the part of machinery or system to meet actual demand.
- Contact suppliers, contractors to deal the question concerning to technical solutions or new technology, new equipment.
- Control technical store operation to ensure the part stored enough for service purpose, but not over-stored.
- Keep cost on maintenance service, energy use and organization optimized. Prepare and control annual budget for department activities and annual budget for CAPEX.
- Discuss with suppliers, contractors and consultant all the matters related to technical specification to make sure that it meets requirements from the users.
- Arrange training/retraining program for direct subordinates to improve their capabilities.
- Ensure the safety regulations of the department staff followed strictly.
- Ensure the LTP for production development investment is transferred into annual project plan.
- Contact with relevant user to get requirements for production investment.
- Be responsible for related ISO and HACCP activity.
- Act as an internal auditor.
- Other tasks as assigned by Plant Manager.
Your Skills and Experience
- University degree or above in Engineering field with fluent English.
- At least 5 years related working experience, including managerial position experiences
- Broad and extensive operation management experiences, including setting up new production facilities, maintenance & utility activities
- Preferential background of working experiences in FMCG or Industrial Manufacturing industry.
- Expert in Strategic Entrepreneurial Thinking and Acting
- Expert in Customer Centricity
- Advanced understanding of product and production technology as well as business processes including production processes
- Advanced knowledge of Lean Management
- Very strong Leadership, People Management and Influencing Skills
- Expert in Conflict Management, Problem Solving as well as Decision Making.
