National Sales Manager

The Job

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the whole sale force by identified sales strategy, job to be done, resources, and key enables required to maximize business and market opportunities
  • Determine the optimum size and structure of the sales force (ASM, Sales Supervisor, Sales Representative, and distributor’s Salesman) as well as to establish balanced and manageable sales areas and territories that will effectively and efficiently meet Company goals and sales objectives
  • Manage and control the sales force to develop their skills through field coaching, on the job training to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, and that monthly and yearly sales targets are met
  • Formulate and maintain sales standard operating procedures such as Work Plan, Beat plan, Basic Call Procedure, time management, effective coverage, stocks management, operational expenses and other related sales functions and activities to achieve sales force efficiency
  • Recommend/implement personnel movement such as promotions, hiring, transfer, disciplinary actions of the sales force
  • Participate in Chef associations and key external activities in the market, and work closely with key opinion leaders in RECA industry to capture business opportunities in the marketplace
  • Appoint, manage and develop distributors; plan and organize training needs of their personnel and conduct periodic business review to validate distributor’s sales performance and adherence to distributor’s agreements
  • Coordinate with Channel Marketing to exploit assigned markets and business opportunities and lead to ensure flawless execution of all activities: promotions, activations such as cooking demonstrations, selling stories and killer demo implementation
  • Work closely with others functions: Free Trade and Chain Sales Team, Sales Operation, Finance, Chef, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure all operations are being smoothly run
  • Analyze performance by territory/area and take actions to ensure target delivery

Your Skills and Experience

  • University graduate
  • English skills: good at both speaking and writing
  • Minimum 2-3 years in the same position
  • Good understanding in HORECA, Foodservice, and Route to Market
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Analytical and negotiation skills
  • Enjoy working in fast-paced, demanding environment and hard working
  • Self motivated and results oriented
  • Has initiative and good common sense
