The Job

Job purpose:

  • To develop, implement, and administer a country rewards and benefits policies, implement new processes and minimise manual processes; arrange relocation and expatriate packages, review and approve country payroll of approximately 1500 employees, and lead the C&B team on all C&B, payroll matters.  Supervise team on maintaining accurate employee records, producing HR reports, act as business Partner for the Senior Management team to administer C&B processes and provide guidance on remuneration of new/existing roles aligned with Company Pay strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Establishes and implements reward and benefits strategies with direct impact on remuneration of all country employee
  • Makes decisions and recommendations in order to achieve C&B management results, preventing delays in assigned work and eliminating the risk of substantial expenditures of time, human resources and/or funds.

  •  Manages the workload of the C&B team

  •  Ensuring payroll is completed accurately and processed in a timely manner

  •  Remains up to date with changes in laws and regulations in relation to payroll, tax and other legislative requirements.

  • Is accountable to his/her direct superior for the delivery of strategic business results

  • Provides support and coordination to peers on the implementation of company policies, programs, and initiatives.

  •  Provides C&B solutions for the management

  • Is accountable for the staying up to date with Regional requirements in C&B 

  •  Establishes and implements compensation and benefits policies
  •  Monitors the company salary structure and benefit schemes to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff
  •  Undertakes job evaluations to ensure internal equity
  •  Conducts/ reviews and participates in remuneration surveys to ensure external competitiveness
  •  Makes recommendations on development and implementation of new benefit packages or changes to benefit schemes
  •  Directs and approves company payroll administration system
  •  Develops and maintains personnel record systems in accordance with prevailing legislation
  •  Aligns compensation and benefits review processes to Regional Office
  •  Coordinates with regional counterparts in compensation and benefit matters
  •  Monitors legislation and regular changes to determine the impact on compensation and benefits provisions – making  recommendations accordingly
  • Oversees overall  people processes within the scope of responsibility to ensure compliance with Human Resource policies
  • Estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work to subordinates
  • Coordinates with the HR Department in the recruitment and selection process of managerial positions
  • Develops and evaluates performance targets and goals
  • Provides leadership and motivation to all staff within the scope of responsibility
  • Identifies and supports subordinates in training and development needs
  • Promotes career development
  • Ensures the promotion of discipline amongst employees within the scope of responsibility
  • Manages underperformance of subordinate 

 

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Specialist HR qualification in compensation and benefits
  • Broad HR working knowledge
  • Have at least 5 years relevant HR Management experience and C&B relevant positions for MNC company

  • Database management skills
  • Software skills (Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Skills in statistical approach
  • English communication skills, spoken and written
