The Job
Job Purpose:
As HR Business Partner (HRBP), work with HR Manager to understand the needs of the business group/affiliate and ensure delivery against a people plan/strategy that fully supports the business growth plans.
In doing this, the HRBP will need to leverage the resources/expertise from across HR and be ready to share their point of view.
The HRBP must ensure that more and more transactional demands are handled by employees themselves or are moved to HR Employee Services – freeing up more of their time to value-add and focus on business building priorities.
Reponsibilities:
1. Compensation & Benefits and Operations:
- Ensure salary and total rewards are competitive and fair within the company and in the industry.
- Process monthly payroll and payroll administration. Ensure timely payment and accurate reporting to Regional and into Oracle systems (HRC, HRCR, HRCT)
- Propose salary package for selected candidate and obtain endorsement from HR Manager, Country Manager and ESEA HR Director before a job offer.
- Regular review HR policies and procedures and suggest to HR Manager any amendments/improvements if necessary.
- Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding of employees as per local process.
- Keep abreast of changes in local labor laws and practices and proactively manage labor/employee relations that are consistent with local requirements, to ensure an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Provide consultancy/advisory services on handling employee grievances and disciplinary cases.
- Support in interventions and counseling sessions with BAs if needed and provide relevant feedback to Brand leaders.
- Provide inputs for retention strategies where possible
- Manage SMU and PIT registration and reports
- Review and renew health insurance contracts, and ensure clear understanding for all employees.
- Organize annual health check for all employees
2. Human Resources Administration – Collaborate with COEs and Employee Services to leverage HR functional knowledge and fully embrace the service delivery model in how we work together.
- Ensure effective execution of HR processes, policies and procedures.
- Regular review of HR policies and procedures
- Ensure Oracle systems updated
- Support HR Manager in organizing company events
3. Recruitments:
- Partners with stake holders on talent acquisition and developing local approach for attracting talents
4. Other tasks: as assigned by HR Manager
Your Skills and Experience
- University graduate
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with retail/customer service background
- Good interpersonal and strong communication skills in both writing and speaking
- Highly adaptable and able to perform a variety of fast and change assignments quickly on short notice
- Independent, proactive and problem-solver
- Good computer skills.
