Modern Trade Manager

The Job

Role:

  • Provide sales training and coaching to the frontline in Modern Trade channel. Build and cascade working process and tools to enhance effectiveness.
  • Maintain/ Ensure/ Sustain the frontline in the implementation, stabilization and sustainability of the TU Best Practices Tools, and other sales supporting projects.
  • Build volume, revenue, & profitability in Modern Trade by selling in Initiatives establish during the plan.
  • Develop and execute business programs, leverage efficient call coverage, and ensure all assigned accounts of Modern Trade comply with performance standards and commitments.

Accountabilities

  • Grow volume, revenue and share in the modern trade channel
  • Develop, sell, and execute effective with identified customers
  • Develop and keep updated an account plan to the company standard (ASAP)
  • Call on all customer wiring assignments as planned
  • Develop specific standards for merchandising range, promotions for MT
  • Provide pre & post execution evaluation of marketing programs and communicate to the field
  • Monitor MT Budget, analyze the results of MT budget used.

Execute plans with assigned customers

  • Communicate standards and customer commitments to the field 
  • Issue a promotion calendar on a timely basis
  • Monitor performance and compliance, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Conduct Business Reviews with senior managers from Company and the customer
  • Collect customer feedback-direct phone -MT.

Setting objectives and tracking results

  • Set clear objectives that are consistent with company goals with each member of the team
  • Ensure all accounts are visited on an appropriate frequency
  • Ensure each team member sells effectively in the market place
  • Ensure clear communication and adherence of pricing and promotions 
  • Review progress vs objectives on a bi-weekly basis 4. Identify & Win New Business
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities (new distribution / new customers) & develop targets to secure 5.

Coaching 

  • Assess performer capability and provide development feedback
  • Model desired behaviors & skills during coaching sessions
  • Deliver group training as required
  • Lead problem solving and address team issue

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • BA degree in any disciplines, major in Economics/ Commerce/ Marketing are preferred.
  • Good knowledge & understanding of Modern Trade channel
  • At least 05 years of relevant experiences in FMCG
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Leadership, being proactive and result-oriented
  • Able to go on business trip frequently
  • Average of English communication
