PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB
- Company is seeking an exceptional individual to join the Professional Products Division (PPD) as anEducator. This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre individual to work in extremely close proximity with our salon customers, and in collaboration with our Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, and Business Development teams within the division.
- The successful individual will be responsible for creating, executing and delivering world-class education to our salon customersand make legendary education a reality.You are not just an educator, you are an educator in the world’s largest beauty company and responsible for continued development in your area through education.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- With a total business mindset, the individual is expected to integrate both educational skills and commercial sell-out competencies in everyday execution.
1.Help a portfolio of salons to develop their business by providing relevant management training, intranet trainings and consultancy services.
- Together with our sales and marketing teams, identify and roll out educational programs to upgrade salon/hairdressers capabilities.
- Establish a positive, respectful and interactive environment (group atmosphere, quality of interaction between animator & learners/within participants).
- Test new services based on the available products to support salons in providing new service experiences for end-consumers, boosting both technical and retail growth.
- Ensure brand philosophy and MSD are incorporated in all seminars.
- Impart knowledge on new products, new seminars to the education team. Coordinate and roll out with excellence in executional standards.
- Tighten buddy system with Customer Development Executives to effectively build ISMS re-activation and core strategic KPIs of the division.
2.Develop customized coaching programs for salons including both technical and business development skills so as to empower salons to progress in their hairdressing career path.
- Apply the compatible personalized coaching program for salons/hairdressers depending on their education needs.
- Fully use L’Oreal’s impactful educational tools to maximize the potential sell-in and sell-out behaviors of salons including in-salon visits, demos, trainings, cluster education.
- Regularly check and measure the ROI after salons are trained (in particular, colour business growth, Hair care business growth) and sharing feedback with the National Sales Manager and the Regional Training Manager I order to plan further courses of action jointly.
- Develop a well-rounded education course to upgrade salons/hairdressers’ capabilities: color, texture, cut, styling, up-do, etc.
3.Keep an eye on competition and report on market initiatives.
- Have an excellent network amongst the circle of salons/hairdressers in assigned territories (keeping it professional and in line with L’Oreal’s Code of Ethics) to keep updated with latest competitive activities.
- Always remain updated with the latest hairdressing trends to improve one’s own training seminars.
4.Promote L’OREAL PROFESSIONNEL among our network of salon managers.
- Build (Beauty & Hair Centers) managers’ loyalty to the brand and transforms them into true brand ambassadors.
- Actively use Social Media platforms for professional use (feedback, best practices, …), following country guidelines (image rights, …) to integrate with salons digitally. Always aligning with the Marketing team and GM.

- You will be liaising with all levels of the professional hairdressing industry, whether that is the most amazing salon in your city, or a local salon on the high street – they are all our customers and require education. As part of our dynamic Education Team, you’ll work closely alongside our stakeholders to ensure the continued growth of the brand.
