PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB
- This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre individual to work in extremely close proximity with our salon customers, and in collaboration with our Marketing and Sales teams within the division.
- The successful individual will be responsible for creating, executing and delivering world-class education to our salon customersand make legendary education a reality. You are not just an Academy Manager who is skilled in Education, you are an educator in the world’s largest beauty company and responsible for continued development in your area through inspiring education. You will be responsible for delivering the best possible education platform for both our Vietnam-based customers and also our Sales/Marketing teams, to help drive Company Professionnel and Kerastase’s leadership as the most loved professional brand of reference in Vietnam.
- The Retail & Training Manager is responsible for the leadership of the Vietnam Education team, which includes a team of education managers in both North and South Vietnam, to ensure an inspirational and progressive education plan for both our direct and indirect channels, delivered by both salon artists and our own team, as well as creating new programs that put our brands at the forefront of education excellence.
- As a member of the Management Committee, the Retail & Training Manager is also responsible for the smooth running of the academy for Division, including efficient bookings and customer communication, full P&L responsibility and delivery of budget, academy development, maintenance of facilities, ensuring optimum customer care, service and experience.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the development of the Education strategy and ensure that the plan supports the commercial objectives of the business.
- Ensure use of systemsthatgive control on budget, revenues, cost and profitability.
- Lead the education team to deliver the most inspiring education programs both in-salon and through various business and creative seminars across haircare, styling and technical products, that continue to motivate and inspire the talent of the future.
- Train the education team on new modules, engage Sales/Marketing teams around education.
- Develop the country’s training program by building on the success of our artistic and business educational content through new methods, new artists and new formats, challenging the status quo where required.
- Continue to modernise oureducation programs to reach more hairdressers and drive incremental revenue with the development of a digital program.
- Ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Saigon and Hanoi Academies to deliver the highest standards of education, customer service and customerexperience.
- Identifyprofessional talents in the market, recruit, induct, train, evaluate and promotethem.
- Build and maintain a network of consultants and artists in the beauty industry.
- Present on stage at events.
