Our Client is one of the leading global Furniture manufacturers Company. It is now one of the largest high-end furniture manufacturers in Southeast Asia. Their products are available worldwide with the brand being recognized as a sign of unique quality and design. Due to their business development in Vietnam, they are looking for qualified candidates for the following position
Senior Wood Production Manager/ Production Manager (5 positions)
Production/Process, Furniture/Wood - Ho Chi Minh, Binh Duong
Salary: $1800 -$3000
The Job
Report to: VP Manufacturing (Expat)
Main Purpose:
- The Production Manager will be responsible for the whole production facility
- The Production Manager will have a background in solid wood furniture manufacturing, with a good understanding of all the required materials (solid wood, plywood, laminated wood), production management and optimization, processes involved, team management and business strategy
- Experienced Production Manager working high-end funiture making company including hospitality product with high quality standard. Responsibility for value engineering, material using, labour, costing, inventory controling and continuously improving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, control the manufacturing activities according to business plan and marketing plan
- Set up and put into implementation the production operation procedure base on the requirements of each type of product under schedule
- Take responsibility for directly supervising and planning activities for the relevant departments i.e. Planning dept, Technical dept, Material warehouse dept, Maintenance dept, Purchasing order dept,…to make sure not only to meet timeline of delivery schedule of the company but also to ensure high productivity and efficiency
- Make resource organization for all departments/sections. Set up production target, product quality, product cost to ensure to meet business plan
- Manage the company projects to expand the company factory scope with new production lines
- Control and analyze production activities to make improvement for cost efficiency to maximize productivity
- Conduct production training for production employees to increase the Company productivity
Your Skills and Experience
- University Degree with Technical background is a plus (Mechanics, Electronic,ect..)
- A background working in a high quality furniture manufacturing company
- 3+years of Production Management (or a similar management role)
- At least 2 year experience in managerial level
- Proven team leadership capability and people development
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Willing to learn new production techniques
- Process oriented
- Willing to work independently
- Strong knowledge of materials
- Good strategic /production processes knowledge
- Good English and Vietnamese communication
- Be able to Work in Thu Duc District HCMC with transportation provided
- Working days: Monday to Saturday
