The Company is a famous multinational company in FMCG industry with well known brands in the global & Vietnam Market. In order to dedicatedly support their business agenda, the company is looking for a potential candidate for the following position
PROCUREMENT MANAGER
- Ho Chi Minh
Salary: $1600 - $2200
The Job
- Manage the Procurement Team to land projects timely and accurately
- Lead Buyer to manage individual Buyer Purchase Requests from the business and negotiate for all indirect procurement in assigned spend
- Lead Buyer for opportunities to standardize purchasing requirements, and enable this in the form of a catalogue that can be loaded into system
- Lead country vendor management under Indirect Procurement
- Act as final gate-check of procurement organization for vendor recruitment and key role in leading country compliance to all users.
- Initiate, implement and drive procurement strategies for strategic sourcing in the cluster
- Engage with Global/ Regional Portfolio Procurement Manager to land migrate strategic project to cluster
- Engage and influence with Key country stakeholders and Board to sign-off procurement strategy in the cluster
- Frequently have a meeting with relevant head of department to deploy procurement projects successfully
- Ensure the satisfaction of Unilever's internal customers with the Indirects Procurement Department
- Measure compliancy by business users to Procurement policies and contracts and take corrective actions as appropriate
- Identify and propose cost reduction/continuous performance improvement (supplier) opportunities
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, with major in Foreign Trade, Economics or related fields
- At least 5 years in Indirect procurement
- Good understanding of market, price benchmarking and price forecasting skill
- Outstanding in interpersonal skill
- Strong influencing skill and strategic thinking
- Excellent negotiation and communication skill
- Capable of doing multi tasks in various fields
- Fluent in writing and speaking in English
- Proficient with computer
