The Job
Responsibilities:
- A Marketing Manager job description involves a very high level of responsibility and self-motivation. This position is a senior role, based in Vietnam office and reports to General Manager, Singapore.
- Marketing Manager’s overall objective will be to raise the brand awareness, positioning, as well as sales revenues for the Vietnam market.
Marketing
Advertising/ Press Releases
- To work closely with Distributor Companys’ Team to elevate Brand exposure by focusing on all possible advertising venues, eg. Above The Line, Below The Line, Events Sponsorship, Product Seeding, Outdoor Advertising, Social Media and Instore Promotions.
- To identify marketing opportunities and maximize brand exposure and brand building to the fullest.
- To prepare Press Releases for New Products Launches in local language, Vietnamese.
- To send out Press Releases to PR agency as well as all relevant print and social media to garner maximum exposure.
In Store
- To work closely with Distributor Companys’ Team, and discuss and initiate Monthly In-store promotion to liquidate aging stocks and increase sales revenue
- To propose images and visuals for in store promotion
- To ensure all images on both lightboxes, styrenes, A3 signages, panels and windows display for both Concept Stores and Shop in Shops are in accordance to Company guideline and schedule.
Events/ Sponsorship
- To identify relevant key events in the territory to propose on both sponsorship or tie up in order to garner for maximum exposure.
- To identify key influencer, and to propose, not limiting to, product seeding so as to garner brand affiliation with the Influencer as well as their followers
Joint Promotion
- To work closely with Distributor Company Team to identify and propose joint promotion with malls, banks or magazines or other avenues to gain maximum exposure for the Brand.
Retail Management
- To leverage on the expansion of distributor store.
- To establish a solid communication with distributors to optimize training, visual merchandising, branding, marketing, business intelligence.
- To understand the Brand Principal’s expectations (merchandising, branding, customer services) and adapt them to Vietnam market while complying with the international guidelines frame work.
Merchandising
- To initially work closely with the company management and distributors and input her/his passion, fashion acumen, experience and local market knowledge in the seasonal buying and collection merchandising process.
- To optimize seasonal brand merchandising, promotion planning and ultimately sales revenues.
- Monitor closely on distributor’s stock inventory report and analyze distributor merchandising.
Budgeting and Sales:
- To work closely with the company management on seasonal, yearly budgeting & OTB of distributors.
- To monitor sales analysis and liaise with company management and brand principal accordingly
- To work closely with distributors to ensure sales target is achieved.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related major
- At least 5 year experiences at the same position for Advertising/Footware/FMCG industry ect...
- Strong at brand management, consumers understanding, creative & strategic knowledge
- Ability to multi-task and be proactive & independent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good communication skills both written and oral, presentation and negotiation skill
- Good at problem analysis & solving skill
