The Job

  • Accountable to develop & implement clear long-term strategy and vision to deliver both short-term and long-term sustainable profit growth for GM, Power & Fleet sectors, including ownership for respective portions of 2018 Roadmaps and regular updates/refresh
  • Accountable for 3-year country plan for key sectors. Ensure T&R, sales pipelines are well-integrated. Translate T&R into sector marketing goals.
  • Accountable for full marketing mix, sector pipeline & C3 delivery, specifically in Building Distinctive Offers, Pricing Strategy, Pipeline Management, Trial closure & Portfolio health.
    1. Build Distinctive Offers
      1. Own & Measure Brand Equity metrics
      2. Define targets
      3. Own Briefs
      4. Ensure Integration of global campaigns and local programs and on-time launch
      5. Relationship management with customers – meet customer with Sales, understand pain points and create superior offers
    2. Pricing Strategy
      1. Own Pricing Strategy for Sector offers
      2. Up-to-date local competitive offer price maps
      3. Optimize between Sector price premium (or rebate), total C3 and Share of Wallet
      4. Work with Pricing Manager to develop & deploy rebate structure
    3. Lead Generation
      1. Support customer prospecting by organizing events like PR, Seminars, customer meets etc
      2. SPANCOP (Direct and Indirect) opportunities are regularly updated in Sale CRM ensuring that prospect database is kept up-to-date reflecting current and future opportunities.
      3. Support sales & RTM team to help distributor achieve CPT (Coverage Penetration Throughput) target
    4. Trial Closure
      1. Required Deal Targets
      2. Identify appropriate mechanisms by ROI & Best Practice
      3. Clarify current hooks & blockers
      4. Develop Content & Tools (Demos, Sales presenters, etc); Support Sales team when required
      5. Implement Trade Programs/Sector Program
    5. Ensure global programs and practices are implemented consistently in the cluster
      1. Ensure global brand managers and global pricing managers are engaged in key portfolio and pricing strategy developments
      2. Actively support customer & distributor insight program and execute any market-specific action plans
    6. Ensuring the competitiveness and integrity of the end to end CVP for customers, including marketing, portfolio, technical service offer, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Accountable for SP&A planning, execution and ROI leveraging advanced analytics and insights to plan and evaluate most efficient ways to lead generation and conversion
    1. Generate Qualified Leads
    2. Identify effective triggers to help conversion
    3. Test, Learn, Optimize using analytical tools
    4. Implementation of Marketing initiatives and spending (as per Aprimo plan), using the Aprimo reports to track progress.
    5. Completion of agreed Post Initiative Reviews on key marketing initiatives.
  • Accountable for Portfolio Health:  Own the assigned sector SKU portfolio and associated portfolio health metrics (C3/FPS, hurdle rate etc)
    1. Define requirements for market
    2. Ensure premium target are achieved
    3. Raise BCIs (non-GPO) and ensure success rate of BCIs
    4. Responsible for FPS of SKUs

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience at least 3 years in business (sales / marketing / technical / Route to Market) for Industrial industry
  • Strong marketing experience in B2B business is a plus
  • Commercial Mindset
  • Analytical skills
  • Good at communication, interpersonal and leadership skill
  • Good command of English & Vietnamese
