The Job

  • Scope:

    • Responsible and accountable for supervising a team at least 3 salesmen, ensuring the correct service levels, distribution and display of company products to an agreed customer base.
    • Responsible and accountable for ordering the correct volume and mix of product to service the outlets under his/her supervision to the agreed company standards.
    • Responsible and accountable for wastage control for all routes and outlets under his/her supervision.
    • Responsible and accountable for the implementation and management of company strategies and plans in the area under his/her supervision.
    • Responsible and accountable for the leadership, training and coaching of personnel under his/her direct supervision.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Outlet coverage:

    -          Coaching the team to meet the job requirements of FSE

    -          Control the market program, plan the sell out to outlet by FSE and trade program budget by assigned region

    -          Ensure all sales routes under the supervision of SS have up to date route plans

    -          Ensure all customer data integrity is continually updated and correct

    -          Responsible to ensure that outlets under the supervision meet the companies

    -          Support team to tie up relationship with owner of distributor & outlet

    -          Review daily the service levels and sales volume and wastage performance by route with each salesman in the team

    -          Leading a team to reach the achievement of distribution targets under the area of supervision.

    -          Leading a team to deliver monthly sales volume and wastage targets for the supervisory area.

    -          Supervision to ensure the correct visibility and display of products in all outlets is as per the company agreed standards.

    -          Ensuring correctly the report of RTM, WS management (Sell out, Inventory, Order, ect.)

    -          Responsible for the investigation and control of non-compliance to company standards and policies.

    -          Working schedule:

    o    9:00-10:00:    Review last day performance and issue discussion with FSE

    o    10:00-12:00: Work-with internal departments (MRL/Finance/Logistics) and WS

    o    15:00-16:00: Coaching FSE on traditional off-trade

    o    16:00-20:30: Coaching FSE on on-premise/ Daily visit with outlet owners/ Explorations

    2. Weighted of Key Performance Indicator of each SS

    -          Volume 60% (Sell Out)

    -          Active outlet: 30%

    -          Outlet Contracted Performance: 10%

Your Skills and Experience

 

-       University degree

 

-       At least 4 years relevant experience in trading field

 

-       Relevant experience in alcoholic industry or FMCG an advantage

 

-       Good presentation and negotiation skills.

 

-       Leadership skills & problem-solving skills

 

-       Good people management skills with ability to motivate, guide and coach subordinates

 

-       Work independently and under high pressure

 

-       Computer literate (good skill in Microsoft Office software, Excel, Words, Power point Presentation)

 

-       English communication
